Hi Rahul. What I meant was that it's easy to criticize others and show your wit. It doesn't take much intelligence to tear down others' work or expose the flaws in their products. That's easy and largely anyone can do it. Unfortunately, a lot of people do.
It's much more difficult to build off of other peoples' ideas and products, helping to showcase the positives of their work while improving those areas that need further attention. I try to instill that behavior in my engineers, encouraging them to find and correct the problems, but also recognize the strengths and figure out how we can build off those areas or duplicate them elsewhere. It's harder to do, but much more valuable.
